When Angie was diagnosed with SMA at fifteen months old, we were nowhere near a treatment. A few days ago, the second treatment for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) was approved by the FDA.
For the past decade, Angie and her friends have gotten an unbelievable amount of support in our efforts to raise funds and awareness for a cure for SMA, and it is amazing to see everyone’s support having such tangible benefits for patients with this disease! We are so thankful and we don’t want to stop now.
This year, as the core Angie’s Hope team is around at different colleges, we wanted to think of an incentive for college students to donate to Cure SMA. And what do college students need/want most? Money!
Every $5 you donate is a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card. Please consider helping our cause by donating as little or as much as you can, but more importantly–spreading the word! The last day to donate to enter the raffle is June 14th. You can donate at tinyurl.com/angieshope2019
